Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Miami follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

When I walked into the cafe, the waiter welcomed me and showed to me my table immediately. Then she poured us water and left us to choose what we wanted for a bit and then she came back for us to order. When we ordered, the food came almost instantly, it was very fast. The atmosphere is amazing. I sat outside. I did not spend much per person which was very good.

First off let me say our server Maday was wonderful! Overall great service and friendly faces. The presentation of the food was perfect, the matcha was creamy and refreshing and the staff was on top of it responding to needs. A negative I’ll say is having the open door concept I observed. We quite literally had a feathered patron come into the restaurant and scare one of the waitresses.

Al was great!! Excellent service and personality. The food was also amazing. Mediterranean omelette we added bacon and it was pretty good. Not sure if I would’ve paid the price for it, but it was good but the pistachio pancakes out of this world! If you eat around the edges and it’s a little dry, but that blueberry compote and the pistachio mix on top is just so flavorful. Pear that was a little bit of maple and you got yourself a winning dish!

Had a great experience at Café Bastille>! I’ve also visited their Fort Lauderdale location, and both have been consistently excellent. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, with plenty of creative brunch options to choose from. The atmosphere is stylish and lively without feeling overcrowded, and the service has always been friendly and attentive. Whether in Downtown Miami or Fort Lauderdale, Café Bastille delivers a great experience every time. Definitely one of my favorite brunch spots in South Florida! ☕🥐✨

Walked to Cafe Bastille and sat outside for a lovely breakfast! Hot Matcha Tea, fresh squeezed OJ, side of thick cut bacon, Classic French toast with sweet cream and fresh fruit! Great sized portions and excellent food! Javier, our server was attentive and manager stopped by to ask how things were. If you look at menu and think ...that seems a high price, the food, service and ambiance are well worth the prices! When in Florida again, will definitely return!
